DIRECTIONS.
Dilute at the rate of 1 part concentrate to 9 parts of CLEAN WATER. If the solution is too strong its benefits will be reduced accordingly. Thoroughly clean the house late afternoon of all litter and debris. Just before dusk shut out hens before thoroughly spraying the house. Please note that the house should be dry before solution is applied. If sprayed when the walls are wet , the Poultry Shield will be diluted again, making it virtually ineffective.. Having loaded the sprayer or knapsack, soak the house from top to bottom. . The birds can be allowed back in immediately. Repeat again within 7 days as a precaution against any missed areas or HOTSPOTS. Repeat this process every 4 weeks to keep the mite under control. Do not rely on just misting the house, as it has to thoroughly wetted with the solution, so that the liquid can penetrate all cracks and crevices, removing the eggs as well as the mite. If the house has a slatted floor, it is advisable to take out the slats in the morning, scrap off all the detritus and thoroughly spray. Spray these again before replacing them. In the case of a bad infestation, should the poultry house have a felted or insulated roof, it may be necessary to strip the felt off after treatment.
