ALFA-A LITE is the fibre feed for working horses and ponies who need a lower sugar feed. For example, horses and ponies at risk of laminitis but who need to gain condition or who are in regular work. Alfa-A Lite has been formulated to be very low in sugar, whilst providing an excellent source of slow-release energy. With approximately 8.5 MJ/kg, Alfa-A Lite provides the same energy per kg as a pasture or cool mix/nut. HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF FEEDING WITH DENGIE ALFA-A LITE:
Alfa-A Lite can be fed on its own or it can be combined with cubes or a mix, like Dengie Fibremix, for those horses with a higher energy requirement. If good grazing is unavailable and you are feeding Alfa-A Lite as the sole feed, use a broad-spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement, such as Dengie Optimum.
