Young dogs are growing dogs, and growing dogs depend on the correct balance of nutritious, healthy ingredients for proper development as they grow. The BETA puppy varieties give them the best possible start in life, with a concentrated source of energy for the high demands of growth and play, high quality proteins for the healthy development of strong muscles, and calcium and phosphorous to promote strong bones and teeth. Feed puppies less than 3 months of age 3-4 daily feedings of moistened food. After 3 months of age gradually reduce moistening and feed 3 times per day. From 6-12 months provide 2 daily feedings. Allow puppy to eat for 10-15 minutes at each of the above meals. Remove food after your puppy has finished eating to help avoid overfeeding. Reduce the amount of food offered if the puppy becomes overweight. Specifically developed for puppies and junior dogs. A complete source of nutrition for puppies and junior dogs - like BETA Puppy/Junior Chicken and Rice - but with tasty and highly digestible lamb as its meat ingredient. Allows a dog to assert his choice of food without compromising healthy development and can be used as an alternative to Chicken and Rice. The delicious bite size kibbles are also small enough to easily eat and digest, however, we recommend that the food be moistened to form a gruel when first feeding a puppy.
